Refund Policy

1. DIGITAL PRODUCT NATURE

All products available on beatdata.io are digital data files (Licensed Materials) delivered via instant download. Due to the nature of these digital goods, all sales are final and non-refundable once the download link has been generated or the data has been accessed, except as expressly stated in this policy.

2. ELIGIBILITY FOR REFUNDS

We may, at our sole discretion, issue a refund or provide a product replacement under the following specific circumstances:
  • Major Defects: The data file is severely corrupted, incomplete, or technically inaccessible, and you have provided evidence of the issue to our support team within 7 days of purchase.
  • Material Misrepresentation: The Licensed Materials differ materially from the description provided on the product page (e.g., the dataset covers a completely different time range or industry than advertised).
  • Duplicate Purchase: You accidentally purchased the exact same product twice within a 24-hour period. In this case, the duplicate transaction will be refunded.
  • Technical Failure: You were charged by PayPal, but our system (Easy Digital Downloads) failed to generate a download link or provide access, and we are unable to resolve the issue within 48 hours.

3. NON-REFUNDABLE SCENARIOS

We do not offer refunds for:
  • “Change of mind” after the data has been downloaded.
  • Incompatibility with software not specified in the product description (e.g., your software cannot open .csv or .xlsx files).
  • Dissatisfaction with the specific data points if they accurately reflect the product description.
  • Lack of technical skill to analyze or use the structured data.
  • The data has been used to train AI/ML models in violation of our Terms of Service.

4. REFUND PROCESS

To request a refund, please email support@beatdata.io with the following information:
  • Your PayPal Transaction ID.
  • The Email Address used for the purchase.
  • A detailed description of the reason for the refund request, including screenshots if there is a technical defect.
We will review your request within 3-5 business days. If approved, the refund will be processed back to your original PayPal account.

5. CHARGEBACKS AND DISPUTES

We encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any issues. By purchasing from beatdata.io, you agree that submitting an unauthorized PayPal chargeback or dispute without first contacting us constitutes a breach of our Terms of Service.
Our system logs (via Easy Digital Downloads) serve as definitive evidence of successful delivery and access.
In the event of an unauthorized chargeback, we reserve the right to terminate your account and pursue recovery of the chargeback fee (typically $15–$25).

6. CONSUMER RIGHTS

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit or exclude your mandatory statutory rights under the laws of your country of residence (e.g., UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 or EU Consumer Protection directives), provided that you are classified as a “Consumer.”
