Refund Policy

1. DIGITAL PRODUCT NATURE & RESELLER NOTICE

All data products available on beatdata.io are digital goods (Licensed Materials) delivered via instant online account access and download privileges. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, who is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Due to the nature of digital goods and the immediate, comprehensive access to our proprietary datasets upon subscription activation, all sales are final and non-refundable once a subscription plan (6-Month or 1-Year) has been purchased and account access has been granted, except as expressly stated in this policy.

2. ELIGIBILITY FOR REFUNDS

We strive for 100% satisfaction. We may, at our sole discretion, issue a full or partial pro-rated refund, or provide a store credit under the following specific circumstances:

  • Major System Defects: The database or data files provided are severely corrupted, incomplete, or technically inaccessible across the platform, and you have provided evidence to our support team within 7 days of the initial subscription activation or renewal.

  • Material Misrepresentation: The datasets accessible under the subscription plan differ materially from the official descriptions, structural definitions, or sample data provided on the Platform prior to purchase.

  • Duplicate Subscription: You accidentally purchased two identical subscription plans for the same account within a 24-hour period. In this case, the duplicate transaction will be fully refunded.

  • Technical Access Failure: Your payment has been successfully processed by Paddle, but our Easy Digital Downloads (EDD) subscription system failed to activate download or access privileges on your account dashboard, and we cannot resolve the technical issue within 48 hours of your report.

3. NON-REFUNDABLE SCENARIOS

We do not offer refunds, partial refunds, or credits for:

  • Change of Mind or Early Cancellation: Deciding you no longer need the data or wishing to terminate the subscription early after accessing the platform or downloading datasets. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals but does not entitle you to a refund for the current active billing cycle (6 Months or 1 Year).

  • Incompatibility: Inability to open standard file formats (e.g., .csv or .xlsx) with your specific software, provided the formats were clearly stated on the Platform.

  • Data Dissatisfaction: Dissatisfaction with specific data points, granularity, or updating frequencies, provided they accurately reflect the promised industry scope advertised on our Platform.

  • Policy Violations: Accounts, active subscriptions, or platform access suspended or permanently terminated due to a breach of our Terms of Service (such as unauthorized redistribution, bulk automated scraping, account sharing, or AI/ML model training).

4. REFUND PROCESS

To ensure the fastest resolution, all refund requests must be initiated by contacting us first. Please email support@beatdata.io with the following information:

  • Your Paddle Order ID or Subscription ID (found in your email receipt).

  • The Email Address associated with your platform account.

  • A detailed description and evidence supporting the reason for the refund request.

We will review your request within 3-5 business days. If approved, we will instruct Paddle to process the refund back to your original payment method.

5. CHARGEBACKS AND DISPUTES

By purchasing a subscription from beatdata.io, you agree that initiating an unauthorized chargeback or dispute via Paddle or your card-issuing bank without prior communication with us shall constitute a material breach of our Terms of Service. Our system logs (via Easy Digital Downloads and server records), which record subscription activation, access timestamps, IP addresses, and download activities, shall serve as conclusive evidence of successful service delivery. In the event of an unauthorized chargeback, we reserve the right to terminate your account and subscription access immediately and recover any associated dispute fees.

6. CONSUMER RIGHTS

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit or exclude your mandatory statutory rights under the laws of your country of residence (e.g., UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 or EU Consumer Protection directives), provided that you are classified as a “Consumer”.
